Thunder Advance To Second Round Of NBA Playoffs

The Oklahoma City Thunder are moving on to the second round of the NBA playoffs.

The top-overall seed in the Western Conference took down the Pelicans 97-89 in Game Four from New Orleans to sweep the opening round series. MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams tied for a game-high 24 points in the closeout win. Shai added 10 rebounds for a double-double, while Williams corralled eight boards and came away with a pair of steals. Chet Holmgren and Josh Giddey netted 14 points as every member of OKC's starting lineup scored in double figures.

CJ McCollum led the Pels with 20 points. This is the second straight postseason appearance where New Orleans has lost in the first round.
